Sean Kouplen is the President & CEO of Regent Bank, a small business owner and investor, and a successful author and speaker.
Kouplen received his BS and MBA degrees from Oklahoma State University, and his graduate banking degree from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
On April 1, 2008, Kouplen fulfilled a lifelong dream by raising $15.5 million and leading an investor group that purchased 115-year old Regent Bank in Nowata, OK. Since that time, the bank has expanded to Tulsa and Oklahoma City, almost tripling in size from $72 million to over $200 million in assets.
Kouplen’s awards and involvement are extensive. He was named the 2011 Oklahoma Small Business Financial Services Champion and was recently named one of Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEO’s by the Journal Record. He was named Citizen of the Year in Bixby, OK and has also been named to Oklahoma Magazine and Tulsa Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 lists.
Kouplen also co-founded a non-profit organization named Bixby Outreach Center which has provided temporary assistance to thousands of needs families, and Bixby Community Church, an outreach-driven community church.
Finally, Kouplen has authored three books which have led to speaking engagements throughout the U.S., the most recent of which are Twelve Life Lessons Every Graduate Should Know, a great book for high school and college graduates, and The Priority Promise, a popular life management book for leaders.
Kouplen has been married to his wife Angela for 15 years, and they have three children- Emory (age 11), Kennedy (age 8) and Finley (age 5).
